Dr. Tyler Dougherty is an energetic, and passionate pharmacy educator. After discovering that many pharmacy graduates struggle with passing the Tennessee MPJE Exam, Tyler decided to create a variety of educational materials that would support all types of learners. From teaching pharmacy students, residents, and practicing pharmacists, Tyler has helped many pass the exam on the first try.
 

Dr. Tyler Dougherty received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Maryville College in 2011 and subsequently went on to receive his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in 2015. He then completed a post-graduate year one community pharmacy residency with the Kroger Company and South College School of Pharmacy. Dr. Dougherty holds a dual position with Clinton Drug Store and South College School of Pharmacy as a Clinical Community Pharmacist and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. 
 

His professional interests include developing new community pharmacy services, medication adherence, immunizations, opioid prescribing and pharmacy law.
